What is Automation Valley?
Automation Valley is a weekly newsletter. I created it for people in tech.
You will receive a weekly newsletter providing insights on how you should think in terms of automation, some use cases, tool showcases, and much more. I see this publication as a living organism that will evolve based on people’s needs and requests.
Is it for me?
Automation Valley is for entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts, marketers, or even employees. Even if you work for your startup, on a friend’s idea, or are employed in a company with hundreds of employees, automation will enhance your work.
💼 Entrepreneurs
You will learn how you can use automation in your daily activities; marketing, recruiting, research and development, and design. The possibilities are endless. You will gain an advantage by having access to valuable data and by knowing about the existence and capabilities of various software, SaaS solutions, and integration possibilities. You don’t need to develop it yourself, but you can manage or oversee this process.
👷♂️ Employees
Even if you are not directly involved in the profitability of the business, some automation will have a direct impact on your work. You will learn how to gain extra time, improve the accuracy of your activities, and develop automation for repetitive tasks.
📈 Marketers
There are a lot of activities that could be automated in marketing, from reporting to making real-time decisions based on data or creating alerts for your KPIs. Automation is a language you must speak in today’s marketing climate.
How can I contribute?
You can’t. I’m joking. I’m waiting for your email at cristian@filimon.tech with your automation challenges (not tasks).
I’m happy to discuss and talk through them, to find the right solution. The only condition is to publish a case study in this newsletter about it (with all the data anonymized, of course).
In the beginning, this newsletter will be free (donations only 🤑) and will have a free version forever.
However, because I want to bring significant value to your products, there will eventually be a cost. You can subscribe for yourself or as a gift to someone else.
About me
I’ve worked in tech for more than 10 years, owned and operated a software development agency (sold in 2020 when I was 30 years old), built several products as a solopreneur, and contributed as a Product Manager in various startups (wellbeing, blockchain, restaurants, video production, SaaS).
I discovered automation around 2013 (living in the country where UiPath was built 😃) and became obsessed with adding various automation to the product specifications that I built. Everything became easier after 2020, when the no-code industry exploded and I discovered how to integrate various APIs and platforms to transform an idea into reality.
